While our manufacturing is primarily international, Aquafire remains proudly rooted in Asheville, NC—where we design, develop, service, and support every product with a hands-on commitment to quality and safety.
Over the past several months, we implemented a 10% surcharge on imports in response to historically elevated import duties. As conditions have improved, we believe it’s important that our pricing structure reflects that progress.
What’s Changing?

While our manufacturing is primarily international, Aquafire remains proudly rooted in Asheville, NC—where we design, develop, service, and support every product with a hands-on commitment to quality and safety.
Over the past several months, we implemented a 10% surcharge on imports in response to historically elevated import duties. As conditions have improved, we believe it’s important that our pricing structure reflects that progress.
What’s Changing?
- Tariff Surcharge Reduced to 2.5%: Reflecting the current tariff environment, we are lowering our tariff surcharge from 10% to 2.5%.
- 3.5% Transportation & Fuel Surcharge Introduced: Due to rising global transportation and fuel costs driven by ongoing geopolitical pressures, a 3.5% surcharge will be applied to help offset increased logistics expenses.
Why the Adjustment?While tariff rates have eased, the broader cost of moving goods, both domestically and internationally, has rapidly increased. This update allows us to more accurately align our pricing with the current cost structure—reducing tariff burden while addressing real increases in freight and fuel.
It’s also important to note that some of our current inventory was procured under higher tariff conditions. This phased adjustment helps us responsibly transition to a lower overall tariff structure while maintaining operational stability.
