What is Aquafire®?
Aquafire® is type of electric fireplace powered by water that uses ultrasonic technology to create a fine mist that mimics the appearance of flames and smoke. These fireplaces do not produce actual flames, but instead, they create a realistic-looking flame effect using LED lights and water vapor.
The water vapor is created by ultrasonic technology that vibrates a small metal plate at high frequencies to create a fine mist. This mist is then illuminated by LED lights that change color and intensity to create the appearance of flames.
Water vapor fireplaces are generally easy to install and use, as they do not require any venting or chimneys, and they can be operated using a remote control. They are also considered to be a safer and more environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional fireplaces since they do not emit any harmful pollutants or particles into the air.
What fuels the Aquafire® flames?
Aquafire® simply runs on tap water!
Can you change the color of the flame?
Our base model, Aquafire Original, comes with a realistic orange LED flame only. Aquafire Pro® allows you to select from 30+ preset color options from the included remote, or from any smart phone using our dedicated iOS/Android App.
Are they difficult to install?
Not at all, you just need two people and some rope. Our burners were designed so that the average homeowner is able to install them by following our installation guides. We have both written and visual instructions that people find easier to follow than Ikea directions!

Does the Aquafire® make heat or sound?
Our Aquafire® Water Vapor Fireplace Burners produce the look of fire without the danger of heat or flame. This is ideal for warmer climates and commercial spaces and allows for less restrictions for enclosure materials. There is also no crackling or artificial fire sound in these burners.
How long will it take to get my Aquafire?
When in stock and after payment is received, it takes our warehouse 1-3 business days to process an order and an additional 1-2 weeks for delivery.

Simply add tap water 1 of 2 ways: Connect directly to a tap water source (Direct Plumb Kit required - sold separately) or enable the automatic filling function with the provided tubing. Please follow our hard water guide for best results.
The water vapor mist is gently pushed with our fans from the mist chamber to the top of the unit through the diffuser vent. The vapor is then backlit by a bar of high powered LED light strips, creating our patented dancing water vapor flame effect.
